Server rules and the nitty-gritty.
Here’s the boring but important stuff. This page elaborates more on the rules found in-game. Punishments for breaking any rules listed below are generally done on a case-by-case basis and under the discretion of the team member handling the situation.
In-Game Server Rules
- Be civil and respectful. Use common sense.
- We’re all just trying to have fun and relax on a game we enjoy. Don’t start any arguments or be disrespectful towards someone.
- Use common sense. If you don’t think you should be doing something, maybe you’re right. If you’re not sure, ask a team member first.
- No religious, political, or any controversial topics.
- It’s great that you believe in something that’s meaningful to you and we respect that. But we also respect that everyone has their own beliefs and it may not be in common with yours and that’s okay.
- This is a game; so let’s have fun and enjoy each other’s company. There is no need to start any conversation that may be controversial or may offend someone else.
- Do not grief, steal, or build relatively close to others.
- We recommend everyone to protect their builds and belongings. But regardless of this, if it appears to belong to someone, leave it alone.
- Allow players to expand their property/build. There is no need to build right next to a player unless they are okay with it. The map is big enough to accommodate everyone. However, keep in mind that this is a multiplayer server, so you can’t can’t complete isolation.
- No cheating or using any exploits.
- Under no circumstances are players allowed to use any tools to give themselves an advantage unless noted otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, X-raying, flying, auto-aim/hit, etc.
- Allowed mods include mini-maps, waypoints, and performance mods (i.e. Optifine).
- If you have questions on whether a mod you have is allowed, please contact us.
- No scamming or any other fraudulent activities.
- We consider scamming as the act of misrepresenting an item or product to gain something. This includes, but is not limited to, stating an item will do something it won’t, renaming an item to pretend it is another item, or not honoring a deal.
- Selling a product for more than it is worth is not considered a scam, for example, selling a diamond for $1500 when it may only be worth $50.
- Pretending to be someone else (either another player or a staff member) is not allowed, even if it may not be harmful.
- We consider scamming as the act of misrepresenting an item or product to gain something. This includes, but is not limited to, stating an item will do something it won’t, renaming an item to pretend it is another item, or not honoring a deal.
- Players are not allowed to create, build, or by any other means, a system that can endanger other players (i.e. lava traps, etc).
- Players are bound to an intent rule.
- Whether it is specifically stated in this rule section or not, if the intent of the player’s action is nefarious or disingenuous in any way; under the team member’s discretion, an appropriate action may be taken.
- Automated farms may be subjected to review.
- If we feel like the farm provides an unfair advantage or if the farm is causing performance problems with the server, we may ask you to modify or remove it.
- Do not solicit or advertise any other MInecraft server.
- This helps keep the chat uncluttered. We are fine if you are privately messaging a friend about another server. However, messaging multiple people as a means to advertise is not allowed either.
- Do not spam or cause chaos in the chat.
- Let’s keep it clean and friendly.
- Please keep swearing/cussing to a minimum and not directed towards a person.
- Players are warranted an appeals process if they believe their punishment was not justified or correct.
Donation Rules
- All transactions are generally final and nonrefundable. Chargebacks or any type of force refunds may lead to an account suspension.
- Should there be an unforeseen problem and we determine a refund is fair, we will issue one. Please feel free to contact us if you have any problems/concerns.
- User acknowledges that their payment is considered a donation to contribute towards server maintenance, hosting costs, and other upkeep costs.
